Official launch of the Cambodian Women Changemakers!

On the 13th of July, the Cambodian Women Changemakers initiative was officially launched. The opening event was game-changing, welcoming extraordinary women leaders dedicated to shaping the future of Cambodia and beyond!

Initiated by This Life and The Women’s Resource Centre, the program will run for over nine months. It will build relationships, skills, and a broad support network for rising women leaders across the region. Although Cambodia has made great strides economically, much more must be done to cultivate opportunities for women across various industries. This initiative is part of a big push to close these gapes and is set to last 9 months.

The launch was brilliantly facilitated Borany Chea, Pisey Khim, and Keo Narath.

We were also thrilled to have Margaret Allison as a guest speaker. Margaret is a prolific leader and changemaker, with experience spanning various Australian NGOs, civil groups, and the World Bank.

This initiative would not have been possible without the support of Australian Volunteers Program, who continue to be a wonderful resource for the work of This Life.
